Nicolas Billon

Nic’s stage work has been produced around the world. His triptych Fault Lines garnered the 2013 Governor-Generals Award for Drama. In 2014, his play The Elephant Song was released as a feature film and garnered Nic a Canadian Screen Award and a Writers Guild of Canada Screenwriting Award for his adaptation.

His latest play, Butcher, premiered at Alberta Theatre Projects in 2014. It has since been produced across the country and is being made into a feature film by Rhombus Media.

A graduate of the CFC TV Writing Program, Nic recently wrote for CBCs TV series X Company.
